Lennar Corporation is an American home construction and real estate company headquartered in Fontainebleau, Florida. The company’s name is derived from the first names of its founders, Leonard Miller and Arnold Rosen.
In February 2018, Lennar became the largest home construction company in the U.S. after it acquired CalAtlantic Group, Inc., a homebuilder based in Arlington, Virginia.
Lennar Corporation made $22.5 billion in 2020, which helped it to maintain its lead in the list of largest home construction companies in USA.
D.R. Horton, Inc., a home construction company based in Arlington, Texas, has been the largest homebuilder in the U.S. by volume since 2002.
