On April 28, the Senate confirmed Air Force Col. Patrick G. Miller for promotion to the rank of brigadier general.
Miller is a 1993 graduate of Cambria Heights Senior High School, Patton. His parents are Pat Miller of Patton and Rhonda Wolfe (Kline) of Ebensburg. He is married to the former Beth O’Donnell of Coalport. The Millers have two sons — Adam (14) and Justin (11).
The colonel received his commission as an officer in the Air Force after graduating from Penn State University in December 1997 with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. He has served multiple assignments across his 24 years of service and deployed to Afghanistan, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and Cuba.
Currently, Miller is the commander of the 88th Air Base Wing and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
This summer, he will move on to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, where he will serve as the director of logistics, engineering and force protection for Headquarters Pacific Air Forces.
