UPSC Civil Services Result 2020 was released on the UPSC official website yesterday. Ahmed Hasanuzzaman Choudhury, the son of Zakir Ahmed Choudhury, an engineering graduate of Jamia Millia Islamia, has brought Assam honour by getting 283 rank in the UPSC Examination 2021.
Hasanuzzaman comes from Lakhirband in the Hailakandi district of South Assam, and he graduated from Jamia Milia Islamia University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Choudhury holds a mechanical engineering degree from Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
In 2012, Choudhury graduated from National Public School in Guwahati with a higher secondary education.
Meanwhile, Assam’s Special DGP (Law and Order) GP Singh’s daughter has made him proud by scoring 97th in the exam.
The proud father congratulated his daughter and shared the exceptionally good news on social media.
Six candidates from Manipur, on the other hand, earned the state accolades by passing the renowned UPSC for 2020, with Parikshit Thoudam securing the best rank from the state at AIR 60.
Waikhom Nydia (180), Heikrujam Prasanjeet (578), Kshetrimayum Deepi Chanu (621), Hatchinghoi Haokip (673), and Lourembam Nelson Mangangch (757) are the other five candidates from Manipur to clear UPSC.

On Friday, the Union Public Service Commission announced the results of the examination, which is held every year to choose IAS, IFS, and IPS officers, as well as other government workers.
Seven hundred and sixty-one applicants passed the UPSC 2020 exam, with engineering graduates Shubham Kumar and Jagrati Awasthi taking first and second place, respectively.
Kumar, an IIT Bombay Bachelor of Technology (civil engineering) graduate, passed the exam with anthropology as an optional subject.
According to a statement released by the Union Public Service Commission, Awasthi is the top female contender (UPSC).
With sociology as an optional subject, Awasthi passed the exam.
She graduated from Bhopal’s Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) with a B.Tech in electrical engineering.
Ankita Jain came in third place in the renowned exam.
The Commission has recommended 761 individuals (545 men and 216 women) for various civil service positions after they passed the exam.
In addition to the IAS, IPS, and IFS, the Commission has produced a list of candidates who would join various central services.
